WW1 German Shovel For Machine Gun Troops- Unit Marked

First let me just say that I am a collector, NOT a dealer. All my items come from my personal collection that started in the 1960's. This is a WW1 entrenching shovel that were made just for machine gun troops. These are quite rare. See the last two photos from a book on WW1/2 equipment that shows this type. Measures 13 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide. So a mini version of the standard infantry entrenching version. These were made this way, NOT cut down from the standard ones. No makers marking on this one but a unit mark was stamped in. It is 13 J. It seems the marking was never finished because I would think the R for regiment would have been added. As is, it reads: 13th Infantry. A very small amount of feldgrau paint remains as does the original bluing that was under the paint. The wood handle is in very good shape and has a P that looks like it was stamped into the side of it. Have no clue as to what it means. I have owned this for 31 years.
