    Description

Lot of three vintage porcelain mugs commemorating World War One.  The first mug commemorates the 1919 peace celebration in the town of Ebbw Vale in Wales, UK.  This mug is in remarkable condition for it's age with no chips, cracks or crazing.  The second is a tumbler also in celebration of the war's end.  This porcelain glass does show some age wear with fine crazing and a slight crack on the edge (see photo).  The third piece is a tea cup and dates to 1914, the very first year of the war.  This cup is from a series of war-related, hand-painted china produced by the Sutherland Art China Company in the UK and is in excellent condition...no chips, cracks or crazing.  Looking at the graphics of these three pieces, it's interesting to note how the primary allied alliance evolved from Britain, France, Russia, Belgium and Japan at the beginning of the war, to Britain, France, USA and Italy at the end.  FREE SHIPPING in USA only via USPS Priority Mail.
