    Description
Here we have a beautiful early model handcrafted rectangular multi-purpose COVERED CASSEROLE by NAMBÉ MILLS, INC. of Santa Fe, New Mexico (the bottom has an original sticker*.)  It measures approx. 10-1/2" long (add 1-1/4" for each side handle) x 8-3/4" wide x 3" side high x 4-1/2" in total height with the lid, can hold up to 3 quarts. It is in good maintained (used) condition with no chips or cracks - currently showing some scuff, rub and a few scratch marks here and there...all of which are to be expected from age and use, not offensive.  It has not been polished since acquired and is being offered in "as found" condition.  [NOTE: from the internet..."Nambé pieces are individually sandcasted with an alloy of eight different metals, combining the beauty of silver - the look of polished pewter - the durability of cast iron.  It may be used under the broiler, in the oven, over an open flame and brought directly to the table.  It also handles temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer."]  The bottom is marked, "BY NAMBÉ ~ 16" and the original bottom sticker reads, "NAMBÉ ~ SAFELY USED--OVEN, BROILER, BURNER.  HAND WASH WITH MILD SOAP AND DRY.   COOKING OIL RUBBED ON INTERIOR PRIOR TO EACH USE WILL PRESERVE LUSTER.  IF STAINING OCCURS, USE NAMBE POLISH.  DO NOT USE FOR FLOWERS."  Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1980.  This item weighs approx. 7 lbs., add 2-3/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.

    Shipping
NOTE: I will be revising, adding and/or changing my SHIPPING INFORMATION as eBay and the Post Office revise or change their information to better serve you. I will use USPS FLAT RATE boxes when I find it cheaper to use than regular USPS Priority Mail boxes or other generic boxes. INTERNATIONAL WINNERS - Please wait for the Invoice to be sent to you by me, and I will use USPS International Rates (AIR only, no more SURFACE shipping by USPS - discontinued.) I will be using UPS for shipping heavier items (usually over 5 lbs., cheaper than USPS rates - or larger boxes over 12" long/36" in total circumference - to US only.)
