    Description

    For sale is a handcrafted Mariposa Brilliante Starfish Bowl. This is an 8 3/8" bowl which just manages a starfish in the center with only it's toes breaking the rim on a couple sides. This vintage piece from the 1990s has a great texture that lends itself well to display. Made in Mexico, the bowl measures approximately 8 3/8" wide across the top, sits on a rimmed 3 1/2" base and stands 2 7/8" to rim, 3 1/8" to highest point of starfish. The bowl is impressed on the bottom with the Mariposa logo and dated 1998.
    This piece has some light wear including scratches and dings appropriate for its age. It has not been polished recently and currently has some patina. As is, it displays beautifully or could be returned to its original brilliant luster.
