Imperial German, Great War, Minty Classic Bavarian Classic Blue Visor Cap. It features a wide red trim band measuring 1.5” and a single narrow red piping band encircling the top. This is a very high quality visor cap in minty condition. It is near impossible to find a Visor Cap without some moth tracking, this cap has some slight tracking on the top as well ( see photo’s ). There is also a Depot mark on the inside ( see photo’s ). Imperial Germany was a federation of twenty-seven kingdoms, duchies, principalities and "free and imperial cities". By far the largest of these components was Prussia, whose King also bore the title of German emperor. This cap is from the second largest kingdom in the empire.
Most Uniform Items from this period have a some degree of moth tracks. This cap does have a couple detectable moth scattered on the top as noted above.
