Description
Up for bid is an early French 950 silver fiddle pattern teaspoon from the 1819-1838 period. The piece is 5 3/8 inches long and weighs 18 grams. The piece has not been monogrammed. It is marked with a French 1st
standard silver mark of the 1819-1838 period, a maker’s mark of [DQ?] with a key, a Paris petite garantie mark and a Paris Moyenne mark.
Condition on the spoon is good. There are minor bowl dents, a tiny cut mark on the handle edge, and normal surface wear from use. A fine French silver spoon!
