    Description

A really nice large powder shaker made from .950 silver by the French silversmith August Leroy, who was in business from 1912 to 1935.  It is 7-1/2" tall and 2-3/4" across at the widest point.  It has an engraved coat of arms of a bundle of arrows between two crowns.  It weighs 9.35 ozt.  It is marked on the base and on the lid with the French Minerva in a cartouche .950 purity mark and the "AL" mark of Auguste Leroy.  The condition is very nice with no damage and light age and wear.
