twelve antique French knives have ebony handles with exquisite silver collars. The blades are stamped with the maker’s mark consisting of the name “
Smart. Paris - London
”. The ebony handles are embellished with very elegant silver collars designed with stylized leaves and a shell motif which extends onto the blade. These knives are in very good condition with the exception of a few small spots of darkening on the blades and very small cracks on the upper parts of some handles, not affecting the solidity of the pieces.
