The General Manufacturing Company American Breakfast Cereals Hulled Crushed Steam Cooked White Wheat, White Oats, Barley Food, Maize.
Received the highest award at the Centennial Philadelphia, 1876.
Condition is "Used". It was cut open when the original owners opened the package, which you can tell from the top. There is a stain on one side, which is also visible inside the box. This has been stored on the top of a kitchen cabinet, in a dry climate. Condition is great for its age. Please see photos.
It’s amazing a oat cereal box has been around since the 1870’s and no one ever threw it out. This is truly a rare and amazing find. Perfect for anyone’s antique kitchen, or for museum piece.
