1961 Revell 1/96 Historic Civil War Steam Sloop USS Kearsarge Model Kit H-391

Up for sale is this 1961 Revell 1/96 Historic Civil War Steam Sloop U.S.S. Kearsarge scale model kit H-391. The box has some problems. The most obvious problem is the big black "X" and price written on the box top. There is scuffing along the edges and corners. There is a price sticker on one end. The other end is torn and detached. There is tape in multiple places on the box sides and bottom, and I think the one mark on the top is also the remnants of tape. There are staples in multiple places. The bottom of the box has a tear. There are stains. There is definitely some wear! Inside, both parts bags are sealed. There are 3 pieces detached from the sprue with the figures. (They will be put in a bag so none get lost.) Model and rigging instructions are included, but are lightly stained. Flags are also included. Please see pictures.
This is a vintage kit, and although it appears complete, I cannot guarantee that all parts are included.

History:
The models I list all belonged to my father who collected them mainly back in the 1960’s and 70’s. He was pretty meticulous about how they were handled and stored. He has been the only owner and they have been stored in boxes in his basement for all these years.
Condition:
These models are vintage and are usually not in perfect, mint condition. I take a lot of pictures and try to give you an accurate description so that you know exactly what you are purchasing.
